Victoria Falls is a beautiful waterfall on the Zambezi River between Zambia to the north and Zimbabwe to the south. It is among the largest waterfalls in the world. It was named after Queen Victoria by David Livingstone in 1855 and is one of the 7 known places in the world to see the Magical Moonbows (Rainbows at Night).
What are Magical Moonbows? Moonbows are rainbows caused by the moon light instead of the sun. They are rarer than rainbows because the weather and astronomical conditions have to be just right for them to appear. Also referred to as lunar rainbow, moon rainbow, spray-bows, moonbows, lunar bow and night rainbow. The best months to see Rainbows at Night is in June, July and August.

Boiling pot - Fitness fanatics particularly like hiking down to the bottom of the Batoka Gorge at the Boiling Pot. The Knife Edge Bridge - offers a heart-stopping perspective of the falls from Livingstone Island. This will have you drenched in spray during high water. The walk on the knife edge bridge is truly an exhilarating feeling. It is approximately 420ft above the Zambezi river and gives a scenic viewpoint of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Victoria Falls is during the dry season, which runs from April to October. During this time, the water level in the Zambezi River is low and the falls are at their most impressive. However, be aware that Livingstone can be quite hot during the day during the summer months. The shoulder seasons (November to March and November to December) offer cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. January to March is the rainy season, so be prepared for occasional downpours.
