Support Parkisons Safaris

We are totally inspired by the courage of former British Colonel Guy Deacon and his journey in Africa. Choose your own safari with us and use this unique safari opportunity to support Parkinson’s in Africa. It is a way of donating to help people and enjoy the best of Zambian Parks at no extra cost to you. The tour can include any of our amazing parks - South Luangwa National Park, Livingstone National Park, Kafue, and Lower Zambezi National Park and you may book any itinerary you like - we will help you contribute to https://www.parkinsonsafrica.com/ and support Guy Deacon on his mission in Africa. Parkinson's disease is the most widespread neurological illness in the world and the number of new cases in Africa is rapidly increasing. There is a general lack of knowledge about Parkinson's disease on the continent, as well as many people who are misinformed or uninformed about it. There is a lack of informational and educational materials in local African languages, which limits affected people's ability to make proper health decisions.

NTANDA PARKINSONS STORY

“My husband, my best friend and my rock supported and encouraged me to start Ntanda Ventures in 2013. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2016. I have seen him face many obstacles in life but the mental and physical challenge upon his body and mind is the hardest of all of them. During the Covid pandemic, we learned how tough life must be for patients who don't have access to any help or medical advice. We are thankful that he has some medical insurance, for the wonderful people and the amazing support we have received on his journey. Please assist us to help other parkinson's sufferers in Africa who do not have the same advantages that we do.”
